After asking my various contacts at Scan is Corsair XMS Pro memory was coming to buy-it-now anytime soon and being told to just watch the site for the next few weeks I spent the next month waiting with baited breath. Nothing. ![]() So I ordered 2x512MB of Corsair Twin-XMS Pro (3200XLPRO) memory last week to bring my system up to 2GB, which arrived and was installed this weekend. TODAY they have the same memory for £20 off. This sort of thing has happened to me 4 times in a row now. Once I can understand, the rest is just victimisation - or it feels like it! ![]() |

Ordered a Belkin Nostromo SpeedPad n52 from eBuyer a few months ago. Cancelled the order as it was out of stock and realised that I didn't really like it after playing within one in a local shop. It arrived a few weeks later and my card was charged. E-mail them to arrange collection and a full refund. Nothing. E-mailed again. Nothing. Selling on e-Bay at a loss. Not impressed. |

Bought shed loads of stuff from Kustom PCs last Christmas and I have to say that Graeme goes beyond the call of duty. Fantastic service. Generally, if I cannot get it from Scan or KustomPCs, I don't bother! |

I bought 3 x Samsung SpinPoint P120S 250GB hard-drives from Komplett a couple of weeks which were at that time comparible or slgihtly cheaper than Scan as I had not yet discovered the joys of Scan2Hexus. Choose the standard ParcelForce delivery method and waited.....and waited. ![]() Admittedly this is not really Komplett's fault, but Parcelforce were absolutely awful. They said that they tried to deliver on the expected day, but did not leave a card through my door to say that they had. I then had to chase around to get arrange a redelivery. Once I had a confirmation of delivery date, my wife waited at home all day for the item to arrive. Nothing. Chased them again, really cheesed off and they said that they would redelivery a few days later. Again, my wife waited in all day. Nothing. Contacted them again and they couldn't find my parcel. E-mailed Komplett to find out what had happened. Waited. A few days later I got an e-mail saying that they would redeliver in a few days time. I rang them in a foul temper and demanded that they redeliver the next day (a Saturday) as I would stay in and release the wife from this torture. Guess what? They wanted to charge me for a Saturday delivery. I told them that they should do this free of charge as a "gesture of good will for all the trouble they had put my wife too". Supervisors were contracted and they agreed to deliver the following morning. I got an e-mail from Komplett saying that it was being redelivered the next day and that there was nothing to worry about. Of course not - I did it all myself. It arrived and the items were perfect, but I would much prefer to shop with Scan with complete confidence. ![]() |
