Ok, way back on the 30th of August, i placed an order for a GeForce2 OEM of their 'bargains' page, i got an e-mail saying my order had been accepted, and the £18 was deducted from my bank account the next day... after 5 or so days i was a bit confused as to where the card was, checked their website "allow upto 14 working days for delivery", fair enough then. 18th september came and went, still no card... waited a few more days and decided to phone them, mmm that was a waste of my life, phoned the number *engaged*, phoned the number *engaged*, etc, then when i did manage to get through the phone just rang and rang, no-one picked up.. so i sent them some e-mails... did i get a response? hell no.... about a week later a GeForce4mx440 arrives in a jiffy bag with an invoice dated the 1st of september, and my address written in permanent marker. i decided not to complain as the gf4 was better than the gf2, but still its pretty damned shocking. The same day as me, Roker bought two of these cards, and went through the same ordeal as me, yet recieved nothing. upon checking their website they had a note about orders placed in september, which basically said that they couldnt honour them as they hadn't recived the money for them, and each customer would have to get the money back via their credit card company.. all in all pretty damned pathetic  |
